I once used it to hold 2 seadoos in rough semi rough water. Keeps it from breaking other stuff. Every 1/2 hour they would go about 10 feet. I use it for a 500lb Seadoo. Great if you are looking for an anchor with limited storage space. Works super in calm water.
Not bad considering the pace of the current would have taken them in ten minutes otherwise. Great for small crafts. The padded bag is great since it gets bounced around in the storage compartment. It wouldn't hold them but sure did slow the drag.
Well made quality product. Storage bag is well padded so you stub your toe.
The carrying case is nicely padded and fits the entire length of rope without spilling out. My only complaint is the collar that keeps the prongs from splaying out doesn't work too well. I swapped mine out for nylon and changed to a 50'length. The anchor is a solid product for a light boat or inflatable. I have yet to take it out on the water, but it seems to be well made. Keep in mind the rope is hollow braid polypropylene.
Engages nicely and is easy to use, but the tines break off very easily. Basically this is not quite strong enough.
If I did not have a friend with a PWC, my Seadoo would be out some where in the Atlantic right know. First time I used it three of the four tines broke off. I do not suggest this item if you plan to use it in a strong current area.
